Bartram Trail opened in 2005 across two hundred acres of rolling piedmont, laid out by architect Richard Robbins to sit inside the land rather than on top of it. It has been a public course every day since. Neighbours, families, work crews, first-timers and lifers — whether you shoot 75 or 120, you belong on this tee sheet.

Par 72 across 6,706 yards. Bermuda fairways that move with the natural grade, bentgrass greens that hold what you hit into them, and a tee sheet built with spacing rather than packed for volume. The conditions are the same on a slow Tuesday as on tournament day.

Our practice facility runs on Inrange — the shot-tracking system used at leading ranges worldwide. Carry, dispersion and consistency are recorded automatically, so an hour on the tees produces something you can actually use.

No marshal appears behind your group to start hovering. We would rather someone linger than turn a cart five minutes faster. Take the extra swing. Finish the story.

Championship conditions, honestly maintained. The greens are true whether there are four groups on the property or forty — relaxed out front, disciplined behind it.

Tavern on the Trail is open from eleven until nine, seven days a week. The grill does not close because your round ended. This is the afternoon that becomes an evening because nobody wanted to leave.

A full kitchen and bar inside the clubhouse under Executive Chef Vincent Johnson — steaks, pasta, fresh salads, a weekly chef special and handcrafted cocktails, with the course through the windows. Lunch and dinner every day from eleven until nine. You do not have to play to eat here.

Golf is the excuse; the people are the reason. The Eagle Club offers eleven hundred square feet with its own bar, kitchen and a covered deck with roll-up doors. The Pavilion seats eighty under cover, with a fireplace and its own restrooms.
Corporate outings, charity scrambles, birthdays, receptions and live music — all catered by the Tavern kitchen, and all designed so the people in your group who do not play have somewhere to be. Every April the clubhouse hosts its own week of Masters events.
